Dr Julie's clinical practice has evolved across both public and private mental health settings, commencing as a medical officer in the Australian Defence Force to admitting consultant Psychiatrist at Deakin Private Hospital PTSD ward.
She has worked in acute inpatient units, community mental health, and specialist outpatient services, with a strong focus on adult psychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, and complex presentations. This experience has contributed to her expertise in trauma-informed care.
Dr Julie is known for her thorough, patient-centred approach; fostering a recovery focused, therapeutic environment where patients are mobilised to achieve improved health outcomes.
